Edie Cagnolatti
Ms. Cagnolatti received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in English from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1998, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Sigma Alpha and Golden Key National Honor Societies. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1998, where she was a member of the National Moot Court Team and studied abroad at the Aix Marseille University Law School in Aix-en-Provence, France in 1997.
Ms. Cagnolatti has considerable experience defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturer clients in complex litigation including mass tort, multi-district litigation and products liability actions filed in both state and federal courts. She also practices in the areas of toxic torts, insurance coverage, professional liability, environmental, property and general casualty litigation. Ms. Cagnolatti is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association.
Originally from Gonzales, Louisiana, Ms. Cagnolatti has been living in New Orleans since 1999. She enjoys giving back to her community and has served on the Board of Directors of the non-profit organization Save our Cemeteries and as legal counsel to the Board. Ms. Cagnolatti was an active member of the Junior League of New Orleans for over ten years and served on planning committees for several non-profit organizations to plan their fundraising events. She has been a certified yoga instructor since 2015.
