Stefanie N. Stephens
Stefanie N. Stephens is an associate with Degan, Blanchard & Nash in the New Orleans office. She is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana.
Ms. Stephens received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2014, and she received her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Southern University Law Center in 2018, where she graduated second in her class.
As a law student, Ms. Stephens served as Managing Editor of the Southern University Law Review, Parliamentarian of the SULC Moot Court Board, 3L Student Representative of the SULC Grade Appeals Committee, Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Fellow, and Pupil for the SULC Chapter of American Inns of Court. Additionally, she received Dean's List honors for five consecutive semesters, and she was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for receiving the highest grades in the courses of Family Law, Constitutional Law I, and Sales and Lease.
Prior to joining Degan, Blanchard & Nash, Ms. Stephens served as an appellate law clerk at the Second Circuit Court of Appeal in Shreveport, Louisiana and a pro bono domestic violence attorney for the Shreveport Bar Foundation.
