Bio

J. Matthew Turner is an Associate Attorney with Degan, Blanchard & Nash.

Mr. Turner attended Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he received his Bachelor of Science in International Politics with a concentration in security studies. Mr. Turner went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law in 2026, alongside a certificate in Environmental and Energy Law. While at Tulane Law, Mr. Turner was a student attorney with the school’s clinical program and received direct training in appellate advocacy, successfully representing clients in front of Louisiana’s Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.

Mr. Turner is excited to bring his education and experience to the Degan, Blanchard & Nash team, working on matters including appellate defense, insurance coverage and defense, workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, and toxic tort.
