Bio

Foster P. Nash is a Partner at Degan, Blanchard & Nash. Mr. Nash is the firm’s Practice Coordinator and General Counsel.

Mr. Nash received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. He was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 1988 and is admitted to practice in all courts in Louisiana, as well as the United States District Courts, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Nash’s practice focuses on workers’ compensation (Louisiana, Longshore, and Defense Base Act), casualty, commercial trucking, automobile defense, and construction defect. He has represented businesses, insurance companies, and individuals in litigation, in state, federal, and administrative courts throughout Louisiana.

Mr. Nash has received the A.V. rating by Martindale Hubbel and has been ranked by Best Lawyers and Chambers. He is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, United States Maritime Law Association, Primerus Defense Institute, and the National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network.

Mr. Nash provides charitable support to the American Cancer Society and Autism Speaks. He is a board member of Raphael Village (a local organization which provides skills training to young adults with learning disabilities).
