Constance Fontenot is an Associate Attorney with Degan, Blanchard & Nash in Baton Rouge, LA.

Ms. Fontenot’s practice includes personal injury, property, and casualty litigation defense. She has experience in handling a broad range of cases including civil defense, construction litigation, business transactions, wrongful death, and criminal defense. She began her legal career there as a law clerk, later advancing to the role of associate attorney.

A native of Eunice, Louisiana, Constance earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2019. She received her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in 2024, where she was honored with the CALI Award for Excellence in Criminal Law.

Ms. Fontenot is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state courts.
