Dax C. Foster is Of Counsel with Degan, Blanchard & Nash.

Mr. Foster’s practice focuses on defending healthcare providers in medical malpractice litigation. With nearly two decades of experience, he has represented hospitals, physicians, and nursing homes across Louisiana, guiding clients through the complex and often high-stakes landscape of malpractice claims. His litigation expertise spans all phases of professional and general liability matters.

In addition to his healthcare practice, Mr. Foster has a broad litigation background representing businesses, individuals, insurers, and governmental entities in both state and federal courts throughout Louisiana. His experience includes trucking and transportation, premises liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation, and general casualty litigation.

Mr. Foster earned his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he also received a Certificate in International Legal Studies. He holds a B.A. from Louisiana State University and is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
