Tyrell (Ty) Manieri III is an Associate Attorney at Degan, Blanchard & Nash.

An accomplished attorney and administrator, Ty has over 15 years of experience providing expert legal counsel to public boards, state agencies, and school districts. His practice focuses on education law, civil rights, labor and employment, and public sector governance.

Ty has served as General Counsel for the Louisiana Special School District, where he addressed all legal matters affecting the agency and its governing board, including human resources, statutory and regulatory compliance, governmental ethics, general liability, public records, open meetings, and civil rights issues. He has also held key roles with the Louisiana Department of Education and the Oregon Department of Education, advising on policy development, dispute resolution, and compliance with federal and state education laws.

Rounding out his public sector experience, Ty has represented public school boards in litigation in state and federal courts and has provided training on regulatory compliance, risk management, and best practices for limiting liability. He is recognized for his ability to balance legal precision with practical solutions that align with client goals and regulatory requirements.

Ty holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law, a M.Ed. from the University of Holy Cross, and a B.S. in Secondary Education from Louisiana State University. He is licensed to practice in Louisiana and is admitted to all Louisiana State Courts.
