Bio

Gregory C. Fahrenholt is Of Counsel with Degan, Blanchard & Nash.

Mr. Fahrenholt earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University, graduating summa cum laude, and his Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School, graduating magna cum laude and receiving the Louisiana State Bar Association Civil Law Award. He was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 2003 and has more than two decades of litigation experience in state and federal courts.

His practice focuses on complex civil litigation including general tort, federal civil rights, employment discrimination, medical malpractice, premises liability, and construction defect matters. He has extensive first-chair trial and appellate experience and has secured defense verdicts, summary judgments, and favorable settlements in high-exposure cases.

Mr. Fahrenholt has represented insurers, insureds, government entities, and individuals in proceedings before the EEOC and Medical Review Panels, and has successfully argued appeals before the U.S. Fifth Circuit. His experience includes defending clients in 42 U.S.C. §1983 claims, Title VII employment disputes, and class actions, as well as handling catastrophic personal injury and public entity defense.

In addition to Louisiana state court, Mr. Fahrenholt is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
