Mr. Roy graduated from Louisiana State University and earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he gained significant experience in both civil law and litigation.
Mr. Roy has extensive experience in state and federal litigation, handling a wide variety of legal matters. His practice areas include personal injury, collections, business formations and acquisitions, business contracts, disputes, insurance subrogation claims and defense, real estate transactions, estate planning, and employment law. He has managed a diverse portfolio of cases, representing clients in industries such as contracting, restoration, and moving and storage. In 2024, Mr. Roy successfully tried four bench trials, three of which involved breach of contract claims for contractors and a restoration company.
Throughout his career, Mr. Roy has gained hands-on experience in drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, mediations, and motions, and regularly meeting with clients to provide updates and insights into their cases. His client-centered approach focuses on clear communication, tailored legal strategies, and efficient resolution to minimize the stress of legal challenges.
