William Laughlin Grace V is an Associate Attorney with Degan, Blanchard & Nash.

Mr. Grace’s practice focuses on insurance coverage and litigation defense, including matters involving construction defects, property loss, auto claims, additional insured status, and Louisiana bad faith statutes. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Louisiana.

Mr. Grace graduated cum laude from Tulane University Law School, where he earned a Civil Law Certificate and was inducted into The Order of the Barristers. He served as Team Captain for Tulane’s Appellate Moot Court Program and received multiple CALI Excellence Awards. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from Tulane University, graduating summa cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

While in law school, Mr. Grace externed for the Honorable Barry W. Ashe of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, where he researched and drafted orders on complex civil matters under federal and Louisiana procedural law. He also clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana, working on federal criminal investigations and prosecutions.

Mr. Grace is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
