Bio

Brooke L. R. Ydarraga is an Associate Attorney with Degan, Blanchard & Nash in Baton Rouge, LA.

Ms. Ydarraga’s practice includes personal injury, property casualty, and litigation defense. Her experience includes general civil litigation, constitutional and governmental defense, and estate planning. She has experience representing Louisiana state officials and agencies in matters involving constitutional claims, employment disputes, redistricting, and institutional protocols.

A native of Baton Rouge, she earned her Juris Doctor and Diploma in Comparative Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2023, after receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from LSU in 2019.

She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Ms. Ydarraga is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association. She also volunteers with the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Holiday Star Project and the St. Vincent de Paul Bishop Ott Shelter for Women and Children.
